Clay Daniel founded Clayborne Education to serve students in the Charlottesville area and beyond. Clayborne exists to help students fulfill their academic and professional aspirations. It is a tutoring enterprise first and foremost because of the conviction that one-to-one engagement helps personalize education in a way that accentuates students’ unique skills and helps them gain the skills they lack. And for test preparation, the advantages of one-to-one instruction are only further magnified, since no test taker has identical strengths and weaknesses.

Since this is a frequent question from test takers, here are Clay’s credentials in test preparation:

• 5+ years in test preparation with the SSAT, SAT, GRE, GMAT, and LSAT
• Perfect GRE score (achieved twice)
• 780 GMAT score (99th percentile)
• 178 LSAT score (99th percentile)

Clay is a graduate of Harvard University and Dallas Theological Seminary. After five years as a campus minister working with Yale students, he has returned to the educational field. As for rates, Clayborne’s hourly rates vary depending on the test or subject taught, and sometimes on the format employed (in person or online).
