Katya Sracic grew up in Northeast Ohio even staying to attend college at Kent State University where she graduated with a degree in Biology. Before now, the only time she had lived outside of Ohio since she was 10 months old was in 8th grade when her family lived in Tokyo and where she got her start tutoring. She has tutored math and science to every age, including small groups of elementary students at a summer camp and one on one tutoring with college students. Currently, Katya is serving an AmeriCorps term in addition to tutoring part-time until she starts medical school this coming August. Fun fact, while she always intended to go to medical school, her intended undergraduate major was Piano Studies until carpal tunnel derailed her plans at the age of 16.
